Carolus Quint married to Angela Belinger, a daughter of Johann Heinrich Belinger, on 7 April 1750 in the Catholic Church of Morscheid-Riedenburg, today a part of the municipality of Morbach in the Bernkastel-Wittlich district in Rheinland-Palatinate.
The Quints had five children, each baptized in Morscheid-Riedenburg: (1) Anna Christina, on 21 March 1751; (2) Johannes Jacob, on 9 March 1753; (3) Matthias, on 4 March 1755; (4) Margaretha, on 4 November 1758; and (5) Nicolaus, on 9 May 1760.
Carolus Quint's family immigrated to Russia. Both parents and daughter Margaretha died in route, as only orphans Anna Christina, Johannes Jacob, Matthias, and Nicolaus arrived in the Volga German colony of Louis on 14 June 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 56.
By the time of 1798 Census, two of the sons are still living in Louis : Matthias is recorded in Household No. Ls11 and Johannes Jacob in Household No. Ls17.
