Discussion & Documentation
Konrad Helwig, the son of Peter Helwig of Neuwiedermuß, married on 8 January 1761 in Vonhausen to Anna Maria Bomersheim, daughter of Johannes & Helena Maria Bomersheim. Anna Maria had been baptized on 20 June 1734 in Vonhausen. Konrad & Anna Maria have two children: Johann Heinrich (birth not verified) and Anna Catharina (baptized on 14 October 1764 in Vonhausen).
The family arrived at the port in Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766. They arrived in Moor on 18 June 1767, although daughter Catharina is no longer with the family. They are recorded on the 1767 Census in Moor in Household No. 56 along with a newborn daughter Katharina (12-days old).
