Johann Adam Fritz was born on 4 July 1742 in Sulzfeld. He married Anna Maria (surname unknown). She had been born in 1743.
They immigrated first to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) where they settled in the colony of Sörup. They continued on to Russia where they settled in the colony of Rosenheim on 15 March 1766 and they are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 47.
