Jacob Alexander or Michael Topelius

      Pastor Jakob Alexander [per Schnurr] Michael [per Amburger] Topelius, son of Jakob Topelius & Maria Berg, was born 1 October 1751 in Uleaaborg (today in Finland). He was a student of theology in Aabo, but failed the examination there. He was ordained in St. Petersburg in 1776. He served the congregation in Galka (1782-1788).
      He married on 5 December 1786 to Eva Juliana Sartelius, the daughter of Pastor Henrik Sartelius. He died in Toksovo in the county of Schlüsselburg on 23 October 1810.
