Eduard Hermann Eichhorn
      The Rev. Eduard Hermann Eichhorn was born in 1882 in Holstein. He was ordained in 1917 and served in Messer from 1917-1929 (during this time, he was the only Lutheran pastor on the Bergseite). In 1930, he resigned his position, but was reinstated in 1932. In 1933, he was arrested and exiled.
