The Center for Volga German Studies is housed on the third floor of Concordia University's new library in Suite 300. It occupies about 2,000 square-feet and houses all of the collections of the Center except for those things whose condition necessitates that they be kept in the University's climate-controlled archive on the first floor of the library. A classroom adjoining Suite 300 is also available for CVGS functions. The Oregon Chapter of the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia meets there each month.
The new library opened on 10 August 2009. Several events celebrating the opening of the new building and its constituent functions were held.
